im so excited they have renewed elementary!!!!! its one of my favourite shows and I love the loyal characters and think it could go on because they have the right balance of continued and separate episode plots.

So very delighted to see that CBS has given the show another season. ***** 5 Stars. To many other good viewing shows have been removed prematurely. This cast is spectacular and the writing is tapered to each characters personalities and idiosyncrasies so extremely well. I'm looking forward to another intriguing season and hopefully the episodes will not be delayed due to scheduling conflicts. Best of luck to all for another great season. Break a leg.

Elementary is a great show and we keep impatiently waiting for the news of when it will return. They keep taking off all our favorite shows. We loved Person Of Interest and they cancelled that.

Could it very well be the ratings are low because of the least favorable "position" of last season's episodes were very much missed by the fact they followed overtime football, then Madame Secretary ? What advertisers want their ads entirely missed when these factors pushed the show perhaps 120 minutes off it's scheduled program time ? Stop blaming them, and us viewers. We all want this incredible TV series, and deserve better scheduling.

Why did they turn sexy, hot bodied, tatooed Shelock into a eunuch with asbergers. Why does he have to wear the same boring outfit every week. What happened to the sexy Football Tees and sweaters. And when did Joan become a supermodel. I want the old horny Shelock back.

I love Elementary. Please don't air it to conflict with PBS's Masterpiece which is often not over by 10:00PM on Sunday. Missing the opening scenes of Elementary makes it difficult to pick up on the plot.

I love this show, I am so happy it is renewed. It is one of the most intelligently written on television today. I love the plot twists and the effort that goes into solving the crime. I hope we have this program for many more seasons.

A great series that is very well written and has a great cast. If ever the ratings and viewers are sliding, it's only because Elementary has cemented itself as one of the most brilliant, exciting and intelligent shows out there, which, we all know isn't the masses cup of tea. It's unintentionally weeding out the stupider viewers. In a sense, it's like seeing Natural Selection in action.

The vast majority of the people in the world is sadly very lazy, shallow, slow-witted and has the attention span of a stick of butter and likes everything 'dramatic' and 'exciting' because it's easy (e.g. keeping up with kardashian and the like).

Elementary isn't. It has a certain finesse to it. It's deep and complex. It's like one of those R18 movies like Watchmen that are actually great but a simple minded everyday person would find unexciting.

Elementary is ABSOLUTELY the best thing on, very intelligent!! These two characters go all out to teach and amaze us with a scene-by-scene allure. These main characters, Lucy Liu’s (Dr. Watson), and Jonny Lee Miller’s (Sherlock Holmes), are genuine and real, true to their trade. The other characters in this show are persuasively convincing as well.
Under creative direction, the writers will often create positive situations to help us, the viewer, remember that we all need to have someone in our corner. I, myself, am all the more optimistic in my own life because of their inspirational ideas. Every mystery, character interaction, and puzzling dilemma of this series brings me where I need to be. They are the teachers, we are the students.

Elementary is just about the most brilliantly written and acted TV drama ever!! Everything about it is superbly done. The casting of Sherlock's sibling and father adds a bit of family intrigue that adds to an already delightful array of characters. PLEASE, do not think about taking the show off the air. I am a faithful fan and taking it away would be quite painful.

This really is American TV at its best. I wondered what this obsession with ratings is all about; if a show is as highly thought of as this then surely it's worth keeping.
The pairing of Lucy Liu and Jonny Lee Miller will possibly go down in TV history as one of the smartest.
And whilst we are on the subject please keep them as they are, a brother sister act. It's great.
