OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today that after ten years and eight seasons the award-winning hit "Iyanla: Fix My Life" will have its series finale when all-new episodes premiere Saturday, April 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. A two-hour farewell special will air on Saturday, May 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT showcasing all the memorable moments and never-before-seen footage from the series. (Source: thefutoncritic.com)

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMAT OF "FIX MY LIFE".

This current season, with its "House of Healing" twist is a major fail. It's too narrowly focused & generally unrelatable. Some of Iyanla's self-esteem/team-building activities are insanely ludicrous to watch, not to mention, indisputably ineffective for those actually participating. I find myself bored & even completely tuned out during a lot of these episodes.

Featuring new families & fresh stories each week is infinitely more appealing. Go back to basics. If it ain't broke....

I have been writing the IYANLA VANZANT show for quite some time now about a serious issue my family and I are going through but I have yet to get a response, I will like all she cares about is the lifestyle of fixing celebrities lives that really do not need fixing, there are people out here that are really going through life crisis and need there lives fixed by IYANLA VANZANT but will never get it fixed because the show is fixated on lives that are not really going through anything and I think that is wrong, I'm the youngest of 12 adopted girls and we were chained by the ankles gashed up side the head we were molested as well as treated like dogs, we were investigated by cps on numerous occasions but nothing was done and there is so much more, see my family has a real story to tell but no one will hear it because people don't care as is this is alright for children to go through being adopted by non loving families just to get a check. We would love to share our story

Please don't pretend to know what she cares about, or be so arrogant to think that your letters or emails go directly to Ilyana she reads them and casts them aside. Producers read such content and make such decisions. Not to mention there has to be a pitch and a season planned out to get funding a time slot and then sponsors, in many cases. You can't say that she personally doesn't care about regular people and only cares about celebrities, 'whose lives don't need fixing". I have a friend who is one of the celebrities you speak of. We all have our struggles. Being a celebrity doesn't mean you are immune to struggles, problems, trauma or setbacks.
In fact, it's often more difficult for them to find happiness amidst a busy, breakneck schedule and spotlight.
You clearly have issues, we all have dirty laundry...but put it in a pile in the middle of the floor and how quickly would we all be grabbing for our own. Someone always has it worse. Go fix yourself, or get some help.

Please bring back Iyanla Vanzant her show was one of the best things Oprah could have done with her network. Iyanla has knowledge, wisdom, education, experience and a way of delivering her message that can never be matched. One of the best counseling shows to ever be on t.v. please renew her contract and bring the show back. Iyanla has fans, viewer's and supporters that support the show. And we want the show back.
