The FX network has given a pilot order to "Snowflakes," a half-hour comedy co-written by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw. Executive produced by Kronengold, Shaw, Karey Dornetto, Nick Kroll, Alicia Van Couvering, and director Jonathan Krisel, the show revolves around a group of codependent housemates in their 20s navigating the challenges of trying to be good people despite not quite fitting the traditional definition of "good" or "people" yet. The pilot will be produced by FX Productions, in collaboration with Nick Kroll's production company, Good at Business, where Alicia Van Couvering serves as president, under Kroll's first-look deal with FX Productions.
Kronengold and Shaw, the youngest writers on "The Tonight Show," recently released their humor collection, "Naked in the Rideshare," published by HarperCollins in November. The duo is represented by UTA and Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman.
