Season 1 of Dying For Sex is Slated for Late 2024 on FX

Michelle Williams is slated to both star in and produce "Dying for Sex," a limited series for FX. The show is a collaboration involving writers Liz Meriwether (known for "The Dropout") and Kim Rosenstock (from "Only Murders in the Building"), director Leslye Headland (credited for "Acolyte"), and 20th Television, where Meriwether, Rosenstock, and Headland have overarching deals. Adapted from the popular Wondery podcast, "Dying for Sex" narrates the journey of a woman (played by Williams) grappling with metastatic breast cancer. She makes the bold decision to leave her husband of 15 years, embarking on a profound exploration of her own sexuality. Throughout this challenging adventure, her unwavering best friend provides the courage and support that sustains her until the very end.
