Paramount+ is set to release a new six-part drama called "One Night," which follows the story of three women whose friendship was shattered by a traumatic incident that occurred twenty years ago. The show centers on Simone, one of the friends, who has written a book based on that event, which has unexpectedly become a hit. However, it becomes clear that the devastating story the book tells does not belong to Simone alone.
The series is produced by Ian Collie, Rob Gibson, and Ally Henville from Easy Tiger (known for "Colin From Accounts" and "The Twelve"), with Simon Maxwell from Motive Pictures ("The Woman in the Wall" and "Get Millie Black") serving as executive producer alongside co-executive producer Harriet Creelman. "One Night" was created and written by award-winning writer Emily Ballou ("The Slap," "Taboo"), who is also an executive producer. Catherine Millar ("The Twelve," "The Secrets She Keeps") and Lisa Matthews ("Doctor Doctor," "The PM's Daughter") direct the series.
