A contemporary adaptation of the 1970s buddy cop show, "Starsky & Hutch," is in the works at Fox, but with a gender-flipped twist. The network has confirmed that the project is being developed as a one-hour drama series using its script-to-series model.
The new version of the show will follow the exploits of two female detectives, Sasha Starsky and Nicole Hutchinson, who work together to solve crimes in the eccentric town of Desert City. The pair are not only committed to their work but are also dedicated to maintaining their friendship and investigating the mystery of who falsely accused their fathers of a crime 15 years earlier.
