Certainly fake, watched one last night 'Hurst so good' . The silver streak has little to no pitting on the chrome and despite the interior looking filthy appeared to have a brand new steering column.

Shame on History Channel for even putting this trash on the air. There is absolutely NO credibility in any of the episodes ... the cars are very clearly purposely covered with muck, probably only hours before filming. This show is an insult to the intelligence of anyone who knows anything about cars ... or even history. Terrible.

On newest show [censored]roach City they showed a "1949 Ford" and keep claiming that throughout the show. Wrong ! That clearly was a 1951 Ford. Much difference between the two. If an "expert" doesn't know what a car is, then I don't think I want them messing with mine.

[sad2] I agree with previous comments. The mud looks new and who puts straw in a $35 000 Honda van with leather interior? Fake fake fake.

It is one of the worst shows on tv. Same league as graveyard cars and fast and loud. Not to mention the other [censored] poor car shows. I love car shows.. this is the cream of the [censored]. Give me some WHEELER DEALERS.

Agree on WD being the best. At least they show the cars being repaired and the dollars for that repair. Dirty Old Cars are just that...dirty cars. Also, it looks like someone put a bunch of junk inside the car and threw leaves and mud on the outside. Really fake.

I don't never see if cars run or not. Before cleaning them see if they run first. People are buying cars and not seeing the engine if its working. Shows missing that element

Beautiful detail jobs but obviously no attention to the mechanical issues.
IMO the proper restore is to start with the running parts and then focus on the exterior.

Look on their website under inventory. They do a video on every car with description.

The show is kind of generic. Seems as if it's all staged. Doesn't seem real for a reality show.
