Shorty probably left Iron Resurrection because of the racist, humiliating, embarrassing way Pompa is treated, not to mention his own minstrel show type behavior.

Love Shorty and his crew. Really like Shorty's personality and style of humor, in addition to his skill. But it's a show mostly built around Impalas, Bel Airs, C10s and other Chevys with an occasional odd ball car thrown in. Evidently, Fords and Mopars are of little interest to the shop. So while I wish them the best of success, the show holds little interest for me personally. I might check in from time to time to see what cars are featured in an episode. But if it's just another Impala or C10, I probably won't watch. This show just isn't for a Ford or Mopar guy.

Agree with other comments that while Shorty is an excellent car restorer, this show lacks interest. I’m not picking on this show in general but the whole car restoration show concept is “old and broken”. It’s mostly the same on all these shows where there is fake drama, annoying humor in front of the camera, unrealistic and fake project completion schedules. Perhaps a fall back to the “hands on, how to” auto repair show concept may re-energize these shows. Come on Motor Trend, Discovery, Velocity and start to think outside the box instead of being lazy and just pumping out shows with just “new faces in a new shop” I repeat again it’s “old and broken”

Show sucks! Do not renew for another season. He was great as part of a good team however on his own he can not keep a show interesting.

This show sucks! Now I see why he left Joe! He thinks he is as good as Joe and he is not! I mean they are trying so hard on this show that it's embarrassing! I use to have alot of respect for Shorty but I see who he really is now. They need to cancel this show immediately l.

I think the show sucks. He was like he did not want to fix anything with the other show. Now I see all these [censored] ups go to Commercial. Plus that was very cold when everyone leaves that is Mexican . Its just no spark in the show. I will not waste my time.

I think this show is awful. He was good when he was with iron construction going on is owe is not good. He was good part of the other show but his show without iron construction sucks. They were good as a team, but he’s not good on his own.

Shorty has his style and some white people just don't like it.np other race can built lowriders like mexicans,and their humble at shorty's when theu did the VW Van they worked with the VW crew .joe Martin is great but remember who was the painter in his shop.shorty left because he wanted to closer to his family and was given a opportunity .you just don't like that a Mexican immigrant is living the American dream.via la Raza baby .LMAO

I'm so happy to see Shorty back in a shop on television. He doesn't an absolute beautiful job on everything he touches. I loved him with Joe Martin but I know it's hard to work away from home, Idk how long they would film at Martin Bros for the season, but I missed him so much. I can't wait to see what he's gonna be doing!!

Congratulations on the show, how can I have a car done for me? My first car was a 1960 Impala and I have regretted getting rid of it since 1974 when I went into the U.S. Army.

Benjamin...get outta here with that BS. I didn't know you could tell race just by a comment. I'm white and love Shorty's work. I've told people he's the best body/paint guy I've seen on TV. I wasn't happy when he left Iron Resurrection because I thought him and Joe made a great team, but stuff happens. Quit trying to hate on all white people because it just makes YOU look like the racist.
