we went and even though it was quit long we fully enjoyed seeing how the production of the show was done.. hoping to caught it when it airs to see the finished product.. Criss Angel was amazing, saw a different side other than the dark image we mostly had of him as he interacted with his son and audience….

We went to the live taping of the show in Las Vegas. Was told it starts at 6pm. But they made us all wait for 1 and a half hour before they let us sit. We stood in line at 5:30pm and did not sit down until 7:30pm. Then they made us pretend the show was great, and made us clap and give standing ovation. The show is terrible. Extremely boring. You get to watch minor celebs perform magic tricks that all of us seen before and have to listen to 3 judges critique. If the host, celebs or judges made a mistake with saying a line, you have to pretend the whole [censored]py clapping all over again.. Basically you watch someone performs a lousy magic trick for 1 min and have to wait for 15 mins to listen to talks. The whole thing was torture!

That sounds like a typical live taping and it says very little about the actual series.

I agree I was there the first taping and it was the worst production I’ve ever scene and gone to!

They redid the beginning with microphone issues and then some other technical issues! It was like watching paint dry and the so called magic was horrible and embarrassing! I’ll be surprised if this show even makes it one season.

They wasted the talent of Eddie Griffin as he was obviously frustrated and not a happy camper and deserved a lot better.

Needless to say most people early and will never ever watch or go to a taping again of this mess!
