The ratings began with a pretty decent 6.7% share nationwide but since then, the show has been steady across the board, with highs of around 8% for episode 6! It’s perhaps unsurprising that these later chapters have been increasing in popularity, as Reborn Rich has now finished, which was a massive ratings hit for JTBC.
Despite the ratings, it’s extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that are sure to move onto other projects – and some who already have announced like those who play Bu-yeon, Yul and Jin-mu -we predict that Alchemy of Souls will not be renewed for a third season. I feel Season 3 would have covered a search for each missing relic per episode and answered all the loose ends once and for all. Very disappointed there won't be a season 3.

First Season 20 episodes.awesome figure out the story line .And telling all my friends get Netflix .and watch .
Season 2 only 10 episodes . OMG !! Need just about 20 like in season 1 ..I hope to God! Netflix Aires a Season 3
