The one thing you can guarantee when you see anything featuring the amazing Timothy Spall, is that it's going to be a cracking watch and this is certainly no exception. Spall is the most sympathetic and committed of actors who hones their craft so beautifully, he becomes the person he is portraying. Once again Timothy, you've nailed it and it's work of this calibre that keeps him as Britain's finest actor. Spall has the ability to make you laugh like a hyena and cry like a baby; I wept like a waterfall after watching his masterpiece as Pierrepoint. Absolutely gorgeous programme with a stellar cast.
