A Small Light Season 2 is yet to be announced by Disney+

(WASHINGTON, D.C. - Feb. 15, 2023) - The new limited series A SMALL LIGHT focuses on the inspiring, real-life story of Miep Gies, who played a critical role in hiding Anne Frank and her family during the Nazi occupation in Amsterdam. To honor Miep on what would have been her 114th birthday, National Geographic announced the powerful limited series, produced by ABC Signature and Keshet Studios, will premiere on Monday, May 1, at 9/8c on National Geographic with two back-to-back episodes. New episodes will debut every Monday at 9/8c and 10/9c on National Geographic and will stream next day on Disney+.

Told with a modern sensibility, A SMALL LIGHT tells the remarkable true story of secretary Miep Gies (Bel Powley), who was a young, carefree and opinionated woman - at a time when opinions got you killed - when her boss, Otto Frank (Liev Schreiber), asked her to help hide his family from the Nazis during WWII.

Thank you for recreating Anne Frank. The story of Meip and Jan Gise was astonishing. One of my favorite series in 2023.

I HAVE to see the rest of this immediately!!! This show is amazing. Very few shows keep me on the edge of my seat- this one has done that and more. Good lord I can barely breathe in some of these episodes!

What a great series! Actors are amazing and after watching most of the movies and series done from Anna's prospective ...this is a great way to tell the atrocious events....PLEASE PLEASE CONTINUE THIS SERIES!!

A small light its a About the history of Jewish in the Nazi history lots of children and adults don't know the history and this show should Be told world wadeTo school and children
Children should be 8 to 18
This will be great history for teenagers

This was really well done. Having had relatives in Europe during WWII, what happened to so many people is so unforgivable. It is happening again, I just wish we could love each other. This production of The Small Light shines the light on those who made a difference when it mattered.
