Disney+ presents "Launchpad," an anthology of six compelling short films crafted by underrepresented filmmakers. These storytellers possess unique and evocative voices that breathe fresh perspectives into the art of storytelling. In an exciting reveal, Disney+ has shared one captivating image from each of these remarkable short films.
This season spotlights six gifted writers, including one writer-director, and five directors, all hailing from underrepresented backgrounds. They have been provided with a platform to express their distinctive perspectives and creative visions.
Building on the mission of Disney's inaugural season of "Launchpad," which aimed to diversify the narrative landscape by granting access to voices that have historically been underrepresented, "Launchpad" Season 2 proudly presents six new shorts on Disney+, united by the theme of "connection."
