Paramount+’s Tulsa King Season 2 to Premiere in Late 2024

”Tulsa King” Season 2 Confirmed, What We Know So Far

There haven’t been many updates on “Tulsa King” Season 2, outside of its confirmation in November of 2022. “Tulsa King” Season 2 has been affected by two main issues - the search for a new showrunner and the Hollywood strikes in the middle of 2023. Terence Winter stepped away as showrunner due to the harsh shooting requirements, which were shot on-location of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Tulsa King, a crime drama series on Paramount+, created by Taylor Sheridan and showrun by Terence Winter, features Sylvester Stallone in his inaugural leading role on television. Stallone portrays Dwight "The General" Manfredi, a New York Mafia capo recently released from a 25-year prison term. Dispatched to Tulsa, Oklahoma, by his boss, The General endeavors to build a criminal empire, recruiting a new crew in the process. Premiering on November 13, 2022, the show has already been renewed for a second season as of November 2022.

Returning actors include Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, Andrea Savage as Stacy Beale, Domenick Lombardozzi as Don Charle “Chickie” Ivernizzi, Dana Delaney as Margaret, Martin Starr as Bodhi, and Max Casella as Armand Truisi. At the end of “Tulsa King” Season 1, it appears as those Dwight may be returning to jail, so expect Season 2 of “Tulsa King” to pick up

I agree! I think he just wanted to make way too many shows all at about the same time so they all feel forced and rushed. I also agree that they are all good shows but so much more could be played out better if they weren’t so rushed. Pretty sure that’s why the scheduling with Yellowstone got so chaotic. Yes Kevin Costner recently started filming a movie but that’s nothing compared to 10 shows being filmed or in production at a time. Plus Costners been doing this alot longer so he knows how scheduling could be.

Sylvester Stallone has found his niche in this role. Unfortunately, Taylor Sheridan isn't what I would consider a talented writer. He has too many back stories going on at the same time and either doesn't tie them together or takes too long to tie them together and loses his audience. He needs to wrap up one series of back stories before he starts another. For example, he has a back story about all the central characters. They all can't be central to the story. His writing is disorganized and not very well thought out and it's not exclusive to Tulsa King. It's true for 1923 as well as The Mayor of Kingstown. It's more evident in the latter because that series is so chaotic and very disorganized. It's a true pity because they're all basically good shows. They just need major editing. In my opinion, Mr. Sheridan needs to let someone else edit his work because he is obviously too close to be impartial. A second set of eyes never hurts. [smile]

A second set of comments are great too because you have no clue what you are talking about. Show that are so disorganized like you say these two are, never get renewed. Read a book and stop trying to be a critic.

Love this show! Keep bringing the seasons as long as you make Dwight and his crew one step ahead of the law at all times! No drama just dominance at all times! Winners win!

This has been a long time coming. Stallone part in Tulsa King is one of his best works yet. I just love him in this part.

Stallone is delightful in comedies. I absolutely love him in "Oscar". And this, very well made farce with correctly measured amounts of drama and violence, fits him like a glove.

Sly is perfectly cast in this show. If you can get past the first 10 minutes (or indeed the first episode) it evolves into a funny, heartwarming, at times gory/violent (but only to the 'wrong' side) show and I absolutely loved it!

[angry] I love tulsa king and Stallone is ausome as usual however not happy with paramount and how there handling this series I spent 3 weeks waiting fir episode 10 the season finale as promised and not only did it never come it's weeks later and paramount still hasn't announced anything about what happened. I have canceled my membership to paramount as much as I always support Stallone I can't support paramount. I think everyone should cancel paramount until they do the responsible thing and update there supporters sorry Sly.

I'm pretty partial to anything Taylor Sheridan has to offer to TV recently (Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown) and Tulsa King is a nice addition, even though it slightly lacks the epic feel you might find in Yellowstone first and foremost. However, this new opus is a tad more humorous than the others.
As for Sly, I know he's a bit looked down upon as an actor, but I quite enjoy him in his more "serious roles", and as an aging mobster, he fits the bill quite nicely [smile]
