The popular Belfast-based drama Blue Lights, created by Two Cities Television, will return for a second 6 x 60' season, the BBC has announced. Blue Lights premiered on BBC One and BBC iPlayer last month to rave reviews. It was directed by Gilles Bannier, co-created and written by Declan Lawn and Adam Patterson, co-created and co-produced by Louise Gallagher of Gallagher Films, co-created and co-produced by Stephen Wright of Two Cities Television, and received funding from Northern Ireland Screen.
Siân Brooke, Martin McCann, Katherine Devlin, Nathan Braniff, Joanne Crawford, Andi Osho, and Hannah McClean are among those scheduled to return in the second season.
