The series followed a team of intrepid researchers and adventurers as they embarked on a quest to uncover the truth behind sightings of a legendary creature known as the "Alaskan Killer Bigfoot." With a mix of scientific investigation, folklore exploration, and heart-pounding encounters, each episode delved deeper into the untamed landscapes of the Last Frontier in search of evidence of this elusive and potentially dangerous cryptid.

The show offered viewers a captivating blend of adrenaline-fueled excitement and thought-provoking exploration as the cast navigated treacherous terrain and faced unexpected challenges in their pursuit of the truth. From remote wilderness campsites to eerie nocturnal investigations, "Alaskan Killer Bigfoot" kept audiences on the edge of their seats with its gripping narrative and immersive storytelling.

"Alaskan Killer Bigfoot" initially captivated audiences on Discovery+, the popular streaming platform known for its diverse array of factual and reality-based programming. Discovery+ Decided Not to Pick Up Alaskan Killer Bigfoot for Season 2

Despite its initial success and enthusiastic fanbase, Discovery+ made the difficult decision not to renew "Alaskan Killer Bigfoot" for a second season. While the series had garnered a loyal following and generated significant buzz within the cryptozoology community, declining viewership numbers and budget constraints ultimately led to the network's decision to focus its resources on other projects. The news came as a disappointment to fans who had eagerly anticipated the continuation of the show's thrilling narrative and hoped for further exploration of the Alaskan wilderness in search of the elusive cryptid.

Although "Alaskan Killer Bigfoot" may not return for a second season, its legacy lives on through the enduring fascination with cryptozoology and the enduring mysteries of the natural world. The series served as a reminder of the boundless spirit of exploration and the enduring allure of the unknown, inspiring audiences to continue seeking out the truth behind the legends that haunt the untamed corners of the earth. While the hunt for the Alaskan Killer Bigfoot may have reached its conclusion, the spirit of adventure ignited by the series continues to burn brightly in the hearts of viewers around the world.

I'm so sad to learn Discovery decided not to renew, sort of left us all hanging. Did anyone decide to move back to Portlock? I guess we'll never know! There's so much garbage on TV; it was so nice to explore Alaska and find out about nantinak. Very disappointed in Discovery channel!

I hope that there will be a season 2, but unfortunately probably not because there would have some information by now. IMO they should put the team from Expedition Bigfoot should be put with the guys from AKB show. The crew from EB is supposedly going to explore somewhere in Alaska so let them go to Portlock Alaska and help the AKB guys with maybe communicating with BigFoot

On the episode We're the Prey S1/E7 @4:15 look at the 10 o'clock position and you'll see a Big brownish upright being moving towards the 11:00 position. It looks very big and moves like as if it were gliding. It's very brief but very compelling..

I live in British Columbia and love being in the forest. Something happened to me a few years ago outside the town of Princton, in the B.C. interior. I Was with a couple people I know, we got separated and things started to get strange. The forest got totally silent, I became disoriented and confused. Then as I'm making my way through the woods on this overgrown trail or path I see 4 or 5 orbs of light ahead of me 8 or 10 meters from the trail. At first I thought it was the people I was with shining flashlights, it wasn't. These orbs began floating high up amoung the branches and a feeling of absolute terror came over me and a run. Eventually I came across those people and accused them of leaving me and all kinds of stuff but the bottom line is I don't go in the woods much anymore.

The last scene as they leave for good on the boat, the freshly built cabin erupts into huge fire. I mean that is so interesting, they must go back to investigate how the fire possibly started with nobody left there! It does not seem like the other shows like ghost adventures where they were caught faking stuff.

[love] Love this storyline!! Really hope there will be a season 2. I for one want the indigenous people to return to their homeland!! And this seems to be one of the next opportunities to actually get real evidence of Sasquatch. Please bring it back!!

I think Natinaq is the original "indigenous peoples" in that area, and the humans are the invaders. Humans stay away!

Please continue with Alaskan killer Bigfoot. It was so very interesting. I love the backgrounds of the folks and what they brought to the show. If not for the show, we would never have known about the plight of these indigenous people who lost their town.

This is BS. The show was in my opinion a huge success. They touched on many aboriginal topics that needed to be heard. Look Discovery, RENEW THE SHOW . You people give other paranormal [censored] shows their time, and here there's a multitude if different story lines and avenues to explore ! A lot of people feel the same, so give us folks what we enjoy watching ,,,, Ty muchly !

I agree with Les Newton it's the same in every bigfoot show. All you ever see is a shadow or a fuzzy blurry picture. It like the show finding bigfoot Matt moneymaker can see or hear anything but a bigfoot. And then there is mountain monsters every week a bigger and more dangerous monster. Come on people as many movies and shows that are filmed in the woods and forest and as many people who hunt I believe we would have filmed one or shot one.

Everyone does have a different opinion, but if you do more digging these creatures are known to cloak themselves that is why people who actually live in forests call them the devil of the forest. Expedition Bigfoot has a scientific point of view on big foot 🦶 the show is slow but their is way to much evidence that points to them being real from a scientific perspective. If you don’t believe in the spiritual realm you most likely won’t believe in Bigfoot . Many don’t believe in something until they experienced it and sometimes keeping an open mind in why the government is so involved in big foot should give you insight that they are real otherwise the government would not buy random sections of a forest no one can trespass far away from civilization. Just a thought but expedition big foot has lots of evidence that actually ties into the native culture with these creatures. 🤙🏽

I really like the show. I am finally watching the whole thing tonight on the channel I get it on here. Expedition Bigfoot is another one that I like. The Mountain Monster one, I am really not fond of. But, the others are pretty good and seem more serious.

First off ...Mountain Monsters wasn't a real show about real Sasquatch research. That was just a show about nothing of any value. Purely entertainment for scary bedtime stories . You could call that a pun on finding Bigfoot really. A show like Mountain Monsters actually did more harm than good to the Sasquatch field research community. As to your as many people that have been in the woods we should of filmed one already comment. Actually there have been many credible filmed Sasquatches. But because of shows like Mountain Monsters, those short video clips that have been filmed will never reach the credibility levels needed in science. Yes a Sasquatch body is needed for that to happen. But that's a whole new can of worms I don't want to open up at this time. lol

Loved the show. By about episode 5 I realized that there are quite a few things happening here. One, the ancestors would have cursed the land once the Spanish enslaved or slaughtered them. Two, in dealing with elementals (and this place has all four haunting it) it is necessary to appease them as the land, water, air, and fire were offended by the rape of the area in the 1940's. This part will take some time as the elementals are possessing and working through Nantinaq, and finally Nantinaq themselves (I think there is more than one). They must be gifted and welcomed as the natives used to do for co-existence. But the elementals must be appeased above all. There needs to be a plan in place to restore removed resources as a continued gifting to the elementals for peace. Their Shahman should be able to acomplish this with the help of mediums, witched, and priests of their faith. Then I think Portlock could be habitable.

Love this Show. Hoping for a 2nd Season. Also I agree with the person who mentioned the other Bigfoot show. How they get close and then move somewhere else. What is up with that??? And at least on this show there are no doubting person. Are asking for proof. If you don’t believe that don’t go looking are stop watching. There are plenty of us who like the Show.

Indeed, so close! Then skip out on the place.... I can understand with the wildfires, but....
I keep wondering why they don't go out to Portlock and investigate themselves....

I loved this show Alaskan killer Bigfoot I’m quite active in the big foot festival we have in my state of nc I’m originally from florida and many times have seen the skunk ape I’ve always thought they were elementals. Don’t care if people think otherwise or that they are fake I know what I’ve experienced that’s all that matters billions here never met god but know he exists! Many people have never seen the beach in real life but know it’s there . That’s all that matters. I believe in other phenomenon as well have seen some things you just can’t understand in my 62 yrs. One day I’m sure with more and more people with cameras cell phones and more awareness around them things will soon be explained. Anyway love the show hope they bring it back.

When I saw the tracker pickup the small bear jaw or even a cubs and suggest it had to be something very powerful to do this(jaw was the size of small dog) I had to laugh, A lot of smaller predators can kill and eat a cub. He was hinting at it being big foot. Funny how it's never seen but always heard not far away. Every sound heard has to be big foot according to them. Show is starting to teeter on the ridiculous.

My great grandfather lived in Portlock during the time the cannery was in use. He used to tell my mother stories about people going missing and that he could hear strange sounds in the woods. The story he told me when I was little was about the lights that he would see dancing over the water and through the trees. He never told me about the missing people and the fact that everyone thought it could be some kind of monster or paranormal being, I don't think he wanted to scare me. Lol he passed away in 2000 at 100 years old. He was born in 1900. I thought that was really neat.
