The spine-chilling trailer and key art for the upcoming season of "Shining Vale" hint at the aftermath of Pat's (Courteney Cox) shocking actions in the previous season. After landing in a psychiatric hospital for attempting to murder her family with an ax, Pat undergoes Electroshock Therapy. Upon her return home, she encounters a mysterious woman who introduces her to ancient remedies, including the enigmatic Smile Masks, used to "cure" women of depression.

Season two delves into the Phelps family's continued struggle with haunting ghosts while Pat grapples with mental illness in a fractured family, battling both internal and external demons.

"Shining Vale" is executive produced by Jeff Astrof, Sharon Horgan, Aaron Kaplan, Melanie Frankel, and Courteney Cox. The series is co-created by Astrof and Horgan and is produced by Warner Bros. Television, Lionsgate Television, Other Shoe Productions, Merman, and Kapital Entertainment.

why would it be canceled?? Please make more seasons of it. Its such a unique neat story w Great actors. Im gonna cancel Stars as soon as I watch the last episode of season 2. Super disappointed 😞 mm

I only subscribed to Starz so I could watch Shining Vale, as did many people apparently ... (Reads previous comments). I binged the show in one night and IM SO EAGER FOR MORE!

Today, March 18, 2023, I ran across a clip from season 1 Shining Vale and it really caught my attention. It is right up my alley and can relate to mental illnesses and dysfunctional families. Love Courtney Cox from watching Friends in my teen years. I decided to sign up for Starz and give the series a try. Immediately fell in love. Binge watched the entire season today. 'Dieing' for more! Apparently it wasn't advertised very well last year when it came out. I had never heard of it until now. Don't drive us 'crazy' waiting for Season 2 please! Advertise MORE! Not only did you gain another fan for the series but a new customer for Starz in order to watch it. So advertisement is definitely the key! Plaster it all over social media and the internet in general! Pleeeeaaassse... we want to keep this going!!!

I caught the second episode before the first season ended, I thought it was so amazing. I made my 18 year old daughter watching it with me, she loved it as well. Now I search at least once a week for a premiere date for season 2

Absolutely love this show. Ha e always loved Courtney a nd Greg I'm a huge horror/thriller/exorcism fan and new age stuff is just to hoacky. This show is brilliant. It brings together a lot of drama, fun, thrill, horror I was so on the edge of my seat at end of episode 8. So glad another good show isn't canceled. Can't wait for season 2.

They say that season 1 didn’t get many viewers , but I just found out about Shining Vale last week when I saw a clip from season 1!!! I think they just didn’t do enough advertising for the show cause I never heard of it before!!!!!! But in closing, I did just watch season one and OMG IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!we loved it!! Courtney Cox and Mira Sorvino are awesome! So was Greg Kiner!!!

I am checking daily to see when season two will start of shining Vale! I have re-watched season one three times! And love it every single time every single actor there works so well together they’re blended into this lovely little organic family of chaos! I can’t wait for season. Two hurry hurry hurry. Excuse me now while I go replay season one all over again.

I MUST SAY IT TAKES A LOT WITH THE NEW DAY OF TELEVISION SHOWS TO GRAB MY ATTENTION. YET SHINNING VALE IMMEDIATELY GRABBED ME UP AND KEPT ME IN WANTING MORE. I HOPE THERE IS A SEASON 2 OF THE SERIES. DUE TO I AM HANGING IN LIMBO WANTING MORE AND MORE. THE FAMILY IS SO CLOSE TO MY OWN I FEEL AS IF THE WRITERS ARE TELLING MY STORY. IT HAS BEEN SUCH A LONG TIME SINCE I'VE SEEN A SHOW SO CLOSE TO REALITY IN SO MANY WAYS CONNECTED TO REAL ISSUES DEALING WITH MENTAL ILLNESSES AND HOW IT AFFECTS NOT ONLY THE PERSON SUFFERING BUT HOW IT AFFECTS A FAMILY AS A WHOLE. PLEASE TELL THE POWERS THAT BE TO BRING SEASON 2 OF SHINING VALE BECAUSE I AM SO HANGING ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT FOR SEASON TWO EPISODES!!!
