Given that Moon Knight ends with, you know, the sudden introduction of a third identity, we're feeling like Oscar Isaac might not be done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe quite yet. And it may or may not be because we stumbled upon this TikTok that might have spilled the beans on announcing Season Two. On the same day that Patton Oswalt slipped about Eternals 2! Is nothing sacred in the House of Feige nowadays? Watch it for yourself. In a TikTok posted to Moon Knight director Mohamed Diab's Twitter, a girl asks him if there's going to be another season of the MCU series. He pretends to be confused. Then, the camera pans to Isaac (!) who says, "Why else would we be in Cairo?" Take that information however you'd like. (Source: esquire.com)

Although not officially confirmed, Isaac appeared on a TikTok from Mohammed Diab in which they heavily imply a second season is in the works over at Disney+.
The TikTok features the pair pondering the question of whether or not Moon Knight will get a second season to which Isaac responds with "Why else would we be in Cairo?"
Again, there's currently no confirmation from Disney that this is indeed happening.... (source: Collider.com)
“Moon Knight” has taken off with critics and superhero fans around the globe, raking in enormous numbers for Disney+ and Marvel Studios. As a result, the two studios are gearing up for a hardy Emmys campaign with the show in the limited series categories, especially following the success of “WandaVision,” which co-led the tally for all series with 23 nominations (winning three) last year. However, a tweet shared from Marvel Studios’ official Twitter account could throw a potential wrench in their campaign.

As Disney+/Marvel series wrap their first seasons, typically there’s some form of news of either a spin-off series or season 2 being firmed up, i.e. Loki made it known immediately we’d be getting a season 2 in its final S1 episode, and it was announced shortly after WandaVision ended that Agatha would be the follow-up. Deadline asked the series director and EP Mohamed Diab whether he’s expected to be back for more work on season 2. “We don’t know if there’s a next season,” Diab told Deadline today. “Marvel doesn’t go with a conventional way, so even if they like the character and want to extend the world, it could be season 2, it could be a standalone film, or he can join another superhero’s journey,” added the director of the season one finale.
Deadline separately checked in with Disney as well and at this time, it’s still TBD whether there’s a second season of Moon Knight. (source: Deadline.com)
As reported by Variety, Marvel Studios is in the process of submitting its latest batch of Disney+ series for a variety of Emmy awards. Similar to WandaVision, both Hawkeye and Moon Knight have been submitted for the Limited Series category, suggesting that the shows will not continue into a Season 2. Contrastly, while Marvel Studios had initially intended to submit Loki into the same category, the plan was changed due to the confirmation that Tom Hiddleston's mischievous god will return in Season 2.
While Moon Knight may not return for a second season, the show's creators are convinced that Marc Spector will play a significant future role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. (source: CBR.com)
