I always thought that the Hoffmans were a bunch of wannabe clowns, and I was glad to see the back of them when they gave up and were no longer part of Gold Rush. But when they returned in Hoffman Family Gold, I tuned in with a sigh and large dose of skepticism, but was pleasantly surprised. It was good to see the eminently sensible and practical son, Hunter, taking a bigger role now he has grown up some, and his father deferring to him on a number of occasions. I hope that there will be a second series, as I feel that there is a lot more to tell of this story. That's always assuming of course, that they are still at it, and haven't done a runner, with Hunter going back to his burgeoning plumbing business ...

Love him or hate him Todd is the one who started Gold Rush. He is not the most graceful, but he is determined. I really only watch Discoevery for the Gold Rush series..... so when they are not on I have no need to watch. Hint hint Dicovery. Lets have some more Hoffman, and for Godsake if you have already recorded a season of a show then the money has already been shelled out. Just stop this Hiatus [censored] it's so uneccary, and loses fans.

First it is very obvious how the people running this feel since most of the comments shown are for the Hoffman circus. The only thing I miss about them is the comedy relief. You should make a show about how to lose your ass mining by the Hoffman's. You killed half of whitewater in favor of toad. They may have been in the first season but so was Parker and grandpa John. That is the only smart thing you did otherwise it would have been another show like the one about those idiots on Yukon cold gold or something like that.

I think it's sad that we're not getting a second season of Hoffman family gold and that we can't watch Yellowstone on discovery plus. What's up what's up. You guys need to get it together and quit delaying things because of the merger. If there's another way to watch these programs please let us know I'd be more than happy to switch.

Come on Discovery Network. Get it together ! You cut gold rush whitewater off halfway through the season to start a new show. Gold lies and videotape. Why? Why would you not bring back Hoffman's family gold? It was an excellent first season. Plus they got good gold to mine on. Don't be stupid. Bring back the show and stop cutting other shows halfway through. People. Love these shows and don't give a [censored] about shark week.

Honestly I would like to see Todd Hoffman pass the torch to his son Hunter. Todd made a lot of mistakes thru all the seasons of gold rush he was in and now his son Hunter seems to have a good sense of direction which was shown in the 1st season of Hoffman Gold. Todd should let the light shine on his son!! The claim that they have access to looks very promising which Hunter proved on his own. If they can get some good equipment that is reliable, they could have a very good season… BUT!! Todd has to take a step back and give Hunter control
which Todd Hoffman definitely will have a very hard time doing! I would love to see them have some success and redeem themselves from their past. I HOPE THAT WE WILL SEE A SECOND SEASON OF HOFFMAN FAMILY GOLD!!

I am looking forward to a season #2. I hope they move forward. Gold Rush is getting stale. Todd Hoffman is the perfect American anti-hero. He’s not super talented, but it was his vision, courage and determination that has spawned a new gold rush in the Klondike. It looks like they are on fantastic ground. I would love to see them have a great season.

I want the Hoffman's on discovery asap not fair on them gold rush plus Dave's on different put them on too not funny there brilliant work hard and there are good at what they do and are fun to watch don't care what others say!

I am really happy to see Todd Hoffman back on the TV. I find him refreshing as he doesn't hold back. I love his Dad and miss his evening prayer at the end of the day. I stopped watching all the gold shows for a long while as I took care of my husband who was in the last stages of cancer. Lord took him on 4/21/21. I am totally getting back into the gold shows and some of my other favorite shows. Good Luck, ps hope to hear Todd sing. Alzina Kress
