Before the infamous Annabelle of the "Conjuring" movie series haunted our nightmares, there was another malevolent doll that struck terror into the hearts of many. It all starts innocently enough when a vintage Chucky doll resurfaces at a seemingly ordinary suburban yard sale. However, what follows is a descent into madness as a string of gruesome murders sends shockwaves through an idyllic American town. In the wake of the bloodshed, the town's hidden hypocrisies and long-buried secrets begin to unravel, exposing a dark underbelly that nobody expected.
As the body count rises, it becomes evident that Chucky is no ordinary doll. Unbeknownst to the town's residents, the demon doll harbors a sinister past that intertwines with its current reign of terror. In a chilling twist, enemies and allies from Chucky's own history resurface, threatening to unearth the truth behind the killings.
The origins of this notorious monster are unveiled, revealing the haunting transformation of what was once an innocent child into the iconic and malevolent figure we know today.

The amount of completely average procedural cop dramas, crime dramas, teen romance bleurgh, reality, "talent" shows and period dramas that get renewed.
Then something actually special like Chucky gets the boot. Chcuky took me completely by surprise, thought it'd be rubbish, it's not. It's amazing.

Season 1 was okish, but season 2 was trash and when this happen this will continue, is hard to turn something bad into something good.

The show has been picked up by USA Network and Syfy, which have both been airing the series. The eight-part drama is set for its first season finale tomorrow night, November 30.
NBCUniversal said that across all platforms, the series has reached 9.5M viewers in its first season. The show is also set to start streaming on the company’s digital platform Peacoc k from December 1.
