An almost prequel to Salem’s Lot with a great cast and interesting storyline. There must be a Season 2 please but can we please lighten up on the whispering delivery silliness. It was very tiresome listening (straining) to Adrien Brody whispering every single line. It was unnecessary and basically silly, with no dramatic relevance.
Regardless, a very good gothic romp.

Got all into this then watched the last episode got [censored]ed....it can't end like this what the $#+!$'-+- is going on had to go and look Yep that was the last one. I knew this could not be all there was so I went online sure enough I live in Akron Ohio and my EPIX only has Episodes 1-8 come to find out there are two Episodes missing. And I can't find anywhere to watch them that doesn't want to make me pay....I already a bloody fortune for the cable I do have all the Episodes should be there!

UPDATE: Stephen King's Chapelwaite Season 2 in Development for EPIX

The world of Stephen King expanded in exciting and unsettling ways last year, thanks to EPIX's adaptation of his short story "Jerusalem's Lot" into the TV series Chapelwaite, but rather than being an isolated adventure, the network has confirmed that a second season of the series is on the way. While the network has yet to reveal when the second season could be premiering, or even when it might be heading into production, audiences will surely be excited to know that the vampiric narrative is far from over. Stay tuned for details on Season 2 of Chapelwaite.

Spectacular show with brilliant casting. I’m an avid Stephen King and Joe Hill fan. Love almost every novel. Was eager to see how this portrayal of Jerusalem’s Lot would be presented.
It is most definitely epic. Far from the hum drum of basic television viewing. Looking forward to Season 2.

Absolutely loved the story. The actors were brilliant and cast perfectly. Love the children and their love for their father vice versa. Horror with a story always captivating to watch. Nice finish to season one. Not to spoil it for others won't go into detail. Wishing for a season 2. The more people watch, comment and follow, I am sure they are waiting for the fans to respond to make this happen. Spread the word to tell others to watch. Thank you Epix.

It is an amazing show that I beg and plead for a second season. This is the first show in many many others that has truly grabbed me from the reality i live in, and into the dark fantacy world that is chapelwaite. I fell in love with the story and the characters, i was sad when some died, i was hopeful for the heros, it felt as if I was there wich I haven't felt in a tv show in a very long time so again please make atleast a second season it would make me and so many others I know who have also fell in love with the story extreamly happy

I’m writing to express how much I am enjoying Chapelwaite thus far. In my opinion, it is an excellent interpretation of Stephen King’s short story, ‘Jerusalem’s Lot.’ The writers have taken liberties and expanded the original story in good faith and with extraordinary results. Chapelwaite is ethereal, suspenseful, and spooky, with a palpable sense of mounting tension and dread. Exactly what horror fans like me appreciate and hope for. I will be clamoring with other fans for a second season of this worthy ‘Salem’s Lot prequel series. Well Done writers, directors, and actors! ???
