"Loki" is an American television series that Michael Waldron created for Disney+. It draws its inspiration from Marvel Comics and revolves around the iconic character of the same name. As the third television installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), it maintains continuity with the cinematic franchise's films. The narrative unfolds in the wake of the events depicted in "Avengers: Endgame" (2019), where an alternate version of Loki played a pivotal role in creating a new timeline.
In its first season, Kate Herron directed the series, with Michael Waldron as the head writer. The show's second season, however, saw Eric Martin assume the role of head writer, while the directing duties were helmed by the dynamic duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. "Loki" promises to deliver a captivating blend of Marvel's rich storytelling tradition and the innovative storytelling techniques of contemporary television.

Similar to how Disney changed up the feature release schedule due to the strikes, it’s doing the same with Marvel series.
Loki Season 2 is the only series sticking to its premiere date of October 6.
The second season of animated series What If…? will debut over the holidays; it had been expected to drop earlier this year.
The Hawkeye spinoff, Echo, was expected to premiere in November, but is now looking at January.
Animated series, X-Men ’97, will go early next year instead of fall 2023.
The WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, starring Kathryn Hahn in the title role, finished shooting a couple of months ago and will premiere in 2024 leading up to Halloween.

In the last few months, the output of Marvel Studios has come under scrutiny from returning Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger, and it seems that many of the complaints about rushed CGI, overworked VFX artists and tight deadlines have led to a huge shake-up in the speed that MCU projects are released in future.
This year originally had several Marvel TV shows penciled in for release, but last month it was said that only two shows were guaranteed to be released in 2023. Those shows are Secret Invasion and Loki season two, both of which have seemingly been pushed back compared to their first release windows that were announced last year.

The Film & Television Industry Alliance's productionlist.com recently updated its Loki Season 2 production page to include its starting shoot day and location. Filming for Season 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will start on June 6 at Pinewood Studios in London, United Kingdom. It's currently unknown how long production will last on Season 2, but Season 1 took a little over four months to film back in 2020.
The start date lines up with what Hiddleston previously revealed in April about filming Season 2. "We're in it already. I mean, we're not filming, but we're in prep, but we start in like six weeks or something," the actor said. "So we're in full steam ahead in terms of a script and story, and it's really exciting. Yeah, I can't say too much, but lots of questions to be answered." (source: CBR. com)
