It would be heartbreaking if they didn’t continue this show! I have spent most of my life dealing with mental illness in my family, friends and my own 2 yr inpatient state Hosp stay in my teens. To see it from so many perspectives dares you too not become emotionally connected with their stories. You see pieces of your self or loved ones in so many ways and I found myself deeply moved and emotionally haunted between episodes. I absolutely can’t imagine not finding out how these stories continue. Does Linda ever get called out? What happened with Nik and his family after his revelation? Was Omar really being kept catatonic by Linda? There are just so many stories left to be told. It would be a shame to squander this opportunity for the world to see how real these issues are and bring awareness to the stigma that we all feel when people learn about your mental illness or past breaks. The care shown for each other, even at their own worst, is admirable. I’m so glad that I got a glimpse!

It’s well past the season 1 finale and I am still thinking about Wakefield and hungering for season 2.
I think I connect with this show because of the character development, the universal emotional stitching and the comic/dramatic interludes. I rarely see anything so fresh, creative and relevant on TV. The formula series are driving me mad ?

I am just watching Wakefield again & would really like to see a 2nd series. If the previous comments are any indication, lots of other people really liked it as well, so would make sense to air a 2nd one....am I right in thinking it has already been filmed??

What a compelling show. A brave look into the struggle of mental health, but portrays it with such compassion n a reality that makes you not want to look away. It shows both side of how the works and how gentle n compassionate way they have to handle each individual patient, but also looking at how it can take a toll on their personal life n how all consuming it can b for sum. N the portrayal of ppl who deal wit mental illness n the struggle that brought them to Wakefield. It was done wit such a kind beautiful way that got u to feel like your rooting for each one to get better rite along wit the staff. I haven’t seen a show wit this much depth on this subject ever. Bringing it back would b soooo awsum!! I feel like there’s so much more to go n now with Nick as a patient I can’t wait to see where that’ll go…. Love the show please bring it back!!!

The best series! It is so powerful and captivating. Ive never seen anything like it and cant imagine how season two will top season one, but i eagerly await!

Wakefield is truly the best series I’ve ever watched, hands down. Incredible compassionate acting and breathtaking scenery. I’ve watched each episode several times and implore the network to bring season 2.

I loved this show. Too often mental illness continues to be taboo but Wakefield deals with it Headon especially the effects on the staff and how devastating it can be.
A second season should be a requirement!!!
Scenery is gorgeous and the camera work is outstanding. Kudos to all connected to this series.

Brilliant show! It is so unusual compared to almost anything you can see on the small screen. The acting and storylines are so deep and moving. The characters are complex and we feel their emotions with them. I’m no expert, but they cover mental health with honesty and empathy. It would be a shame to cut short these stories and this show. Season two please—available in the U.S.!

As a licensed clinical social worker who has worked on an inpatient unit I find this program true to form of a real unit. This show is well written, the actors are superb and the scenery is beautiful. Please bring this back for a second season!

This show is amazing, a breath of fresh air. Creative in its format, with an excellent cast and just the right amounts of romance, mystery, and intrigue. Also casts a much-needed light on mental health issues. Season two please, we are not ready to say goodbye to these characters!
