Nine yesterday confirmed Amazing Grace would not be returning for a second season.
A Nine spokesperson told TV Tonight, “Amazing Grace performed strongly for Channel 9 but we have made the decision that it won’t return next year, our sincere thanks to the extremely talented cast and crew who delivered a show that we are very proud of. (Source: tvtonight.com.au)

This was an amazing to show with a great cast and not your usual hospital drama. This was real, raw, life!!!
Soooooo disappointed they did not see the potential of this programme😡
This series was full of love passion truth, and first class acting... But then again, channel 9 is under the dictatorship of white shoe brigade member, Peter Costello and Australian women understand only too well the misogyny, disrespect, and vile behaviour his political party, the LNP, show toward women...
Amazing Grace has literally everything and does not seem fake at all unlike some other dramas so it’s sad they’ve decided not to continue with it. And it did end on a cliffhanger too!
Hopefully one day there might be another episode or two if they won’t make another whole season??
