I absolutely love this comedy. It’s whitty and we’ll acted. Cinematography is beautiful. I stumbled upon this show on iview and feel that more promotion of this show would would garner a huge following.
Please do a follow up series 3.

Freaking loved this actor in 800 words, was so disappointed when it ended. Seeing him in this role is amazing! The whole cast is perfect!!! Hurry with more seasons!!

I just found this today on Acorn! I immediately alerted my friends and family who fell for him in 800 Words. I would never have imagined him as a sexist, fat shaming, cussin' & swearin', narcisstic human being...and watched all 7 in one sitting.?

Oh my God this is got to be the funniest show we have seen in such a long time. Cannot wait absolutely cannot wait for season two!
My husband and I absolutely thought it was wild seeing Eric Thompson in this role. He has quite the range! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dear ABC, please renew Aftertaste for a 2nd series. I've just binged this again and I "need" to see where this story goes.
Aftertaste is a little gem. Cleverly written, with interesting, horrible & flawed characters, all played to perfection : Australia's answer to Seinfeld! Not since Rake has such a 'caustic arsehole' been such an engaging central character.
First, Series 1 also needs to be re-launched with a decent promotion and timeslot - it deserves an audience.
