Brisbane-based Ludo Studios has been forced to issue a statement following a media report hit series Bluey would conclude after its third season.

The Daily Mail reported “the series may be ‘wrapped up’ in the coming months due to one significant factor – the voice of the young actor behind Bluey is changing….. the young actor’s voice has naturally matured leaving producers with the choice to either re-cast the role or – more drastically – end the show, insiders say.”

But Ludo took to social media to deny the speculation. (Source: tvtonight.com.au)

bluey is the greatest kids show out. We have all the DVDs that are sold in Australia and can't wait for the next one each time.
My little one has picked up some of the games and jokes like cleaning the toilet hand joke.
When I heard more were made and are coming on TV soon I was so excited (more than my 4 year old I think) [smile]

One thing I do love is that I can see abit of the old Aussie ways showing through in action and language.
I hope they keep it up [kiss]

Just for the record I'm 14 my brother is 12 and my parents are in their mid 40s we all watched and loved the show which just goes to show that it really is a show for all ages. I just hope you guys make more episodes soon because not just for me and my family others in the world absolutely love your show. Thanks for making the world a better place from sunny

Glad to hear the show will be continuing, but I hope they age Bluey up to keep up with the original voice actor; kids and parents alike *will* notice the change of a swap-out, and it can be jarring, compared hearing the natural evolution of the same voice. Not to mention, there's so much potential to address so many good topics with growing up if they stick with the same voice actor, you've got Bingo and a multitude of other characters to cover other ages of life to fit any story situation. Good writing will adapt easily to this.

You are not wrong Kimberly. However, I would point out that the kids are very young in the current series so theres room to age and still stay within the family dynamic that is sooooo relateable. The relateablity is what makes it as universally successful as it is. The writers of this show have shown that they are absolutely brilliant!! They can find and describe those hidden moments we cherrish as parents with masterful humor. The best thing is they do it without resorting to a keystone slapstick character (ex Homer Simpson or Peter Griffith). Its a sign of the unique genius of the show that they dont need to rely on stupidity and stooge like comedy. I feel this show is the best tool for parent education, only problem I find is that I find myself feeling guilty at times that I cant be as good a parent as Chili and Bandit. I fight back a small tear every time I watch an episode.

Agree but there are episodes where you can tell that bandit and chilli are highly annoyed lol or hungover 😂 never feel like you’re horrible because being perfect. Isn’t ever going to happen. Parenting isn’t perfect and we all have bad days . Just have to make the best of them . Hang in there love .

My son is 9 months old and loves to watch it all day and all night I can now recite word for word every episode from first season to 3rd it makes my husband laugh when I copy Chilli. My son loves bluey his first stuffy was bluey he was 3 months old the surprise and he grabbed and hugged his bluey he can't sleep without his bluey and bingo he hugs them both now. They feel like a part of our family and we have dreams of the kind of parents we want to be thanks to bandit and Chilli. I have cancer so seeing someone show me fun ways to work is making Mt life so much better I'm here in Louisiana and was never taught it's ok to have fun while working. Thank you so much for being a big part of our family and a huge inspiration please don't stop making these. It's a good lesson to parents and its fun for the kids very educational.

he kids and I absolutely love this show. Hope they continue with it even if it’s not “ Diverse enough” for some (which is what I’ve seen all over the internet) I have a 5 years difference between my daughter and son. This seems to be about the only common ground between them…anything bluey and quite frankly I’m alright with that. It’s an excellent family show and I don’t feel like I’m losing brain cells watching it. Win win I’d say!

This is by far the best cartoon for kids as well as adults. It is so entertaining and a joy to sit and watch with my 9 year old grandson. So funny. It's genius!

My baby is 3 months and can not take his eyes of of Bluey. I have to add that neither can I. I live in the US and have Disney + with seasons 1-2 It says season 3 came out but I don’t have it. ??‍♀️ Am I missing something ?

A 3 month old will watch anything on TV as the flicker rate of the television puts the mind in a trance like state. Probably not good for a 3 month old with a developing brain to be watching the TV.

I have a question: I've got every episode of Season One and Two recorded on my DVR. But, after reading the above episode list, I notice Episode #13, Dad Baby, is NOT on my DVR, and I've never seen it!!! Did Episode 13 not get released in the US for some reason? It looks like an awesome episode!!! I'd LOVE to see it!!! What do you think happened? I've got every other episode but that one!!! Where can I find it?

From what I have read (and I have read ALOT bc we LOVE this show! Lol)
It is about bandit having a baby, and due to it being a tad bit “inappropriate” for younger views, the dad is in labor in a kiddy pool, they cut it from the US line up.

We’re watching from south Florida in the US. My son’ll be 2 at the end of May. We’ve binge watched both seasons multiple times!!! He’s obsessed and I laugh so much! My favorite episode is squash and when uncle stripe says “oh right in the love handles” to bandit. It’s great, I’m excited for the 3rd season and it can’t come soon enough!!

My family and I LOVE Bluey! I am so happy to hear that the show was renewed! We can’t get enough! We look forward to Friday’s now more than ever as that’s when we are spoon fed three (or sometimes one) new episodes newly released to us in the US (Arizona).
It is truly the only show we ALL look forward to watching anymore. I am a grown woman and proudly wear my Bluey face mask. ? I can’t wait until I can buy the series for n DVD here! Please keep making this series! It’s the ONLY good thing on television anymore.
