Raging at this decision by Netflix. There is so much rubbish on Netflix and now they go and cancel this brilliant series. I would cancel my subscription but then wouldn’t be able to watch Deadwind at all.

Great cast, great drama, great storylines, great acting, great setting.....miles ahead of True Detective. Whose bright idea was it to cancel season 4? Shame on you....

I am confused. How is the cancellation of Deadwind Season 4 final? Just last month the show's producer revealed that Season 4 will be the most personal and emotional yet. Please, do check out what really goes here before spreading disappointment and anger among people.

I can’t believe this!!! I have just watched the whole 3 seasons a second time! I have never done that before. The best series I think I have ever seen. NETFLIX…….. I think you’ve signed your death warrant and you deserve it! I will find out where it will be on and I will subscribe to that streaming site. You are going to thrown out. Obviously replaced by some inane US series of cops and robbers no doubt.

As usual the more a series has everything for it ( i.e. great story line, marvelous acting, etc.) the greater the danger of getting axed. I often wonder what prompts these executives to cancel great shows and sit idly by and have mediocre junk get renewed.
I am simply angered over this cancellation. Too bad.

Goodness! Why cancell DEADWIND Season 4? Fans love it and ratings are over the top. So many wonderful comments and sadly I could not hit like to all. Well written series and what a great cast of talented actors and actresses! Engaging and certainly a motivation to binge watch.Terribly disappointing. Hard to find series such as this. Hope there is going to be a Season 4🤞

Having just finished watching Season 3 and looking forward to Season 4, just found out there won't be one. Honestly Netflix, what were you thinking? Fabulous story lines with great twists and turns - action with a hint of romance, what more could you want from a crime drama? I hope someone takes up the mantle and runs with the show. It's too good to let go.

One of my favourite shows, Deadwind is a masterful production. Of all the shows to cancel Netflix, this was not one of them.

We never know what to expect from Netflix, but not renewing a series which has all the elements, is purely mismanaging to the nth degree. What could be the thinking behind this absolute disaster of a decision or perhaps it was a lack of thinking? Netflix should take into account their consumer’s programming preferences. Wake up and pay attention!

Well if Netflix's is dumb enough to cancel series 4 of Deadwind then maybe Prime should pick it up and add a bit of class to their streaming service. I'm astounded that Netflix after renewing 3 times has shelved this very classy detective show, it has absolutely everything, grit, great storylines, fantastically written characters who demand your full attention and subtitles that are easy to read and flow the way they should. Normally I shy away from subtitled series but this one was amazing and allowed me to completely follow the story without all the stopping and starting that can happen with subtitles. It makes me question why I keep renewing my Netflix subscription at all.
Come on Netflix, have a rethink about season 4 as there's still so much we all want to know and even more crimes to be solved by the wonderful Karppi and Nurmi. [sad]

The characters: Karppi & Nurmi’s developement so complex as they unfolded from Season1. Great writing…subject/ plot…thrillingly suspenseful. Think hard on this!

Agree that Netflix blew it with this decision. Considering the junk they keep it reflects poorly on program managers. Not an exaggeration to say this is a total miss on Netflix’es part. Really dumb.

I’m so disappointed in Netflix. They are so worried about losing viewers than cancel one of their best series. Nordic noir is the best and Netflix has had some of the best. Bordertown was so well done as well. So many of them they dropped after one season which is fine if you have a resolution with the characters. Some have none at all as in Borderliner. Some like Valhalla Murders just wish there had been more because characters were so good. They left us hanging with Deadwind. I watched it multiple times it is so well done. Kaarpi and Nurmi deserve more so do all the viewers you don’t want to lose. ☹️
