All details for Raising Dion Season 3 in this short video:

There will not be a third season of Raising Dion. Series star Sammi Haney, who played Esperanza on the Michael B. Jordan-produced superhero drama, revealed the news Tuesday on Instagram and it was confirmed by Netflix.

“Sad to say that Raising Dion is CANCELED [sic],” Haney wrote. “Thank you for all of the amazing support we got from all of our wonderful fans! Season 2 was a success, equal to Season 1, even if just looking at how many people watched all of it and wanted a season 3!” (Source: deadline.com)

Unfortunately, this show never had any buzz. It got lost among all the other shows. Lost in Space was lucky to get a conclusion, because after the first season there was also no audience awareness. Family shows seem to struggle in that regard unless they are Marvel/Star Wars. But that's just my opinion. [wink]

Season 2 started production sometime in August 2021. New cast members were announced at that time. We won't see season 2 until sometime in 2022.
