FULL DISCLOSURE: I am biased about this series as my 2 second cousins are both Writers and Executive and Co-Executive Producers on the series (Brandon and Kurtis Birtell) and I have served in the military for 24 years, so this series is something I am very much in favor of. I do believe that these types of documentaries are excellent sources of history that teach valuable lessons about what it means to serve in the U.S. military and what it means to be someone who has been awarded the nation's highest award for personal heroism in combat: the Medal of Honor. I have watched Season 1 and am very impressed with the presentation of the episodes, the narration of the episodes, and the way in which each episode personalizes these heroes by looking at their life before and after their receiving the award (for those that lived) and the way in which the episodes also include the family members who knew and loved them as well as some of those who served with them in combat. Hope for Season 2!

And when you believe that you already had seen almost everything, Medal of honor appear and show us how many men put his own lifes, fears and loyalty to break whit all paradigms of the century, because a heros doesnt know about skin colour, or religion, or modals. Its about doing the best in the worst momment. Just pride!
I loved the series and showing that courage can come in the form of the most unlikely of packages. I do hope that this becomes an annual Netflix veteran's day tradition series. I am also hoping that they will profile the first Medal of Honor recipient, Jacob Parrott. Although Disney did a decent job in the film adaptation of his story. I would like a more updated version of his story. Also as fan of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, I would want them to profile him as well. It has been nearly 25 years since the Gettysburg and The Killer Angels introduced Chamberlain to history. I would love for the present generation to be introduced to this man. Thank you to all the men and women who have served!
