The Conners Farewell Event on ABC
The Conners‘ farewell run will commence this spring and bring the Roseanne franchise’s 17-season haul to a close.
Season 7 of The Conners will premiere in March 2025 — a full 10 months after the sitcom’s Season 6 finale — and consist of six episodes.
The abbreviated order will cap The Conners’ run at 112 episodes. Perhaps even more remarkable: Including Roseanne Season 10, the revival will have aired eight seasons total — just one season shy of Roseanne’s original nine-season run.
Combined, Roseanne and The Conners will have produced a whopping 343 episodes.
"The Conners" is a spin-off series of the popular sitcom "Roseanne," which originally aired from 1988 to 1997. The show revolves around the working-class Conner family, particularly focusing on matriarch Roseanne Conner and her husband, Dan, as they navigate the ups and downs of everyday life in the fictional town of Lanford, Illinois. However, following a controversy involving the original series' lead actress, Roseanne Barr, "The Conners" was created as a reimagining of the show without her character.
In "The Conners," the family copes with the absence of Roseanne, who has passed away from an opioid overdose. The series delves into the aftermath of her death and how it affects each member of the Conner family, including Dan, their children Darlene and Becky, and other recurring characters such as Jackie Harris, Roseanne's sister. Despite the loss, the Conners continue to face various challenges with humor, resilience, and a strong sense of familial bonds.
