What can I say, another case of Humans knowing nothing about other Humans, believing that there is No ANIMAL in Planet.. Why would you axe a show that was so brilliantly informative.. It’s crazy, you couldn’t get a more popular program for both adults and children.. Well Animal Planet I am sure another channel will snap them up, I will not continue to watch especially when treehouse masters and tanked are on. It must be a change of management, someone who has no idea what the people that pay their wages want.. Yes it’s us muppets that continue to watch on, not I, you have completely lost my respect, just turned over to Sky Nature, Just fantastic wildlife.

I have watched every episode of Extinct or Alive and love it! The places you get to see are amazing! The show fulfills my passion for nature, conservation, travel, and biology all in one. Forrest has mastered teaching his audience about tracking an animal and the ecosystem the animal lives in. I love how he includes the various different cultures and their beliefs and sightings of the animal he is searching for. This show is well worth the money it costs to produce. People want to understand the importance of each species to our own existence of a healthy planet. I’m counting on you Animal Planet and Discovery Channel to renew this show!

Please, please bring this show back. With most of the world has been keeping their kids home and homeschooling them this show could have a big and better effect for these kids.
As we are going back to the natural world where we can " social distance " and still be with friends . This show can help educate and keep animals alive and safe . It is so stupid to not take that chance of teaching the next-generation to be safe and keep an eye out for these animals that need to be saved.

I love the show and I think it deserves another season. I know the first animal for season three and that would be the Quagga which was a subspecies of zebra.👌

I loved this show and have learned so much. Especially with people being at home so much why not teach us what we can do better. I thought that was part of your philosophy put your money where your mouth is and bring this show back. Especially now that Discovery Plus is out if you are charging people back that up with shows like these!!! Thanks Betty

Love this show. It’s really opens your eyes to the plight of animals. Whereas the programs tree house masters and tanked are just showcasing the whims of the rich who don’t know what to do with their excess money. Exorbitant treehouses and fish tanks are not attainable to most people.

According to forest galante. Animal planet said they will not be renewing extinct or alive for season 3. Because it cost too much money for the ratings they were getting. Even though it was as highly rated as tree house masters and tank wars. And actually cost less. Animal planet also wants to keep going to reality tv. Please tell animal planet they are stupid and should bring back a great wildlife show

That is quite annoying. I absolutely loved that show and the thrill of watching him find a previously extinct species.

I have been quite impressed with the episodes I have seen of this series and I hope that it has potentially more seasons ahead. If it does can I suggest that a genuine effort is made to check out the spate of records from the last few years relating to possible sightings of the extinct (?) American Passenger Pigeon. Although I don't live in the U.S. I have always believed that, given the collosal amount of unexplored and impenetrable woodlands in North America, the total extinction of a species as numerous as this was purported to be would be highly unlikely. There has now been almost a hundred years since the last official reported sightings in the wild, plenty of time for a small population of survivors to breed and increase to a point where its presence is once again begining to be noticed? I have not been impressed by any of the recent phptographic evidence but that does not mean that the species has not survived (Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence).

My family and myself are huge fans of the show Extinct or Alive and of Forrest. We have been waiting and anticipating the return of this show. I believe it’s an excellent show that focuses on a lot of destruction that we as humans are actually causing to our planet by proof of some of these beautiful creatures that are no longer on Earth. IF this show is not renewed I believe Animal Planet has done a disservice to animals ON THIS PLANET and the Network needs to change its name.
