Whether you are a cat or a dog person, Animal Planet’s latest reality television series Cat VS. Dog, which kicked off with season 1 on November 11th, 2017 tries to combine the two species to the point where we can all live together in harmony. Sounds great, right? Animal specialists Jackson Galaxy (team cat) and Zoe Sandor (team dog) are being brought into the homes of some rather desperate families that live with the ancient feud between the two animals to the point where they had to separate their pets even to the outside. The show features a boy, who is afraid of his Cane Corso Mastiff Ernie, and Bug, the overweight cat, who bullies Maltese Poodle mix Mushu. Zoe and Jackson come up with plans, daily routines and procedures in an attempt to provide a real conflict resolution. The first episode attracted 0.54 Million viewers with a demo rating of 0.09 in the coveted 18-49 demographic. As of today, Animal Planet has not yet officially cancelled or renewed Cat VS. Dog for a possible Season 2, so stay tuned!
