The latest reality television series on CNBC is called The Job Interview, which kicked off with season 1 on November 8th, 2017 with brand new half-hour episodes. The show does exactly what it suggests in the title – it is literally a job interview by real candidates as they are being put through the real questionnaires to land this particular job they are applying for. Most of us know that these often very important meetings are extremely unpredictable, because anything from the clothes that are worn, the words that are spoken and even just a simple facial expression could make or break such an interview, but so can the determination and grit of those being questioned. So thankfully, not all is lost. The first episode premiered to an audience of 333,000 viewers, which unfortunately dropped to 241,000 viewers for the second episode. Will this be enough to keep this new series going? As of today, CNBC has not yet cancelled or renewed The Job Interview for a possible Season 2.
