General information and cast
Created and executive produced by Bentley Kyle Evans, the American comedy Grown Folks premiered on the network Bounce TV on October 3rd, 2017 with half-hour situation comedy episodes for its very first season. The show hails from the production company Bent Outta Shape Productions Inc. and stars Gary "G-Thang" Johnson,Tracey Cherelle Jones, Jay Phillips, Caryn Ward Ross, Oren Williams and Durrell 'Tank' Babbs.
The two blue-collar couples Gary and Jillian Thompson and James and Brenda Finley share a duplex and whilst things are seemingly normal on the surface, their friendship will be tested more often than not. Gary is frugal and short-tempered, whilst Jillian is his level-headed counterpart. In the meantime, James is overly neighborly and somewhat unassuming with Brenda playing the part of perfect and always cheerful housewife. Whatever happens – they all have each other’s back.
