General information and cast
The brand new game show Face Value premiered on the American network BET on September 27th, 2017 with 30-minute episodes for its very first season. The show hails from the production company Push It Productions, is executive produced by Wanda Sykes, Page Hurwitz and Lance Crouther and is hosted by Deon Cole. The reporter on the street is Tiffany Haddish.
This game show will attempt to answer the age-old question “Can you judge a book by its cover?” and has contestants guessing facts about strangers, who are being questioned by Tiffany, solely based on their appearances and very few personal details. These people of different backgrounds, races, beliefs and life experiences come from all different walks of life and it will be funny to watch their reactions and those of the competitors. The show will break down prejudice and stereotypes, as well as bring together what connects us all - humanity.
