If you are a lover of the old being restored and getting a new lease on life – then the new show Vintage Rehab is most certainly for you. And if you are a DIY-er, who loves to turn old and broken “stuff” into some showstopper, then this series is also for you. Ally Mahon does both in such an uplifting and ingenious way, where she implements simple ways to recreate the former glory of something that was once beautiful, but has since fallen into disrepair. Her methods apply to houses, furniture as well as back gardens. And even though the network DIY has not yet released any information about this new show, but we are very confident that we haven’t yet seen the last of Ally Mahon and her team. Stay tuned and we will keep you updated if and when Vintage Rehab returns with season 2.
General information and cast
A brand new American reality home makeover series called Vintage Rehab premiered on the DIY network on September 5th, 2017 with eight episodes for its very first season. The show hails from the production company RIVR Media and is executive produced by Sarah Kuban, Rob Lundgren, Lori Golden-Stryer and Dee Bagwell Haslam. The series is presented by Ally Mahon.
Licensed real estate agent and restoration pro Ally Mahon is the center of this latest home makeover series in Pittsburgh – and this lady has made it her mission to save the historic neighborhood in her beloved city. Ally takes resented, suffering, neglected and crumbling old houses, which often still have traces of their original time period and turns them into beloved homes full of character. Mahon is never scared to try anything to devise a method to restore and enhance certain features, not even when the budget is rather minimal. Somehow, she and her team, which includes her husband Buddy, make it happen and the end results are mostly breathtaking.
