General information and cast
Whenever you think of Gordon Ramsay, you think of Hell’s Kitchen! The British celebrity chef with the big mouth and fiery temper is the creator of this reality cooking show, which originally premiered in the UK back in 2004. Since then, the show has been adapted in several different countries including the US, where Ramsay currently cooks in his 17th season, as well as Italy, Germany, France, Poland, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Romania, Indonesia, Brazil – and now Australia, where the first series premiered on August 6th, 2017 with 15 brand new episodes on Seven Network. The show hails from the production company ITV Studios Australia for Seven Network and is executive produced by Matt Apps. The host for the Australian series is British chef Marco Pierre White.
Based on the original premise of the show, Hell’s Kitchen Australia follows the same program, where ten celebrities are competing to win money for their chosen charity. There are several weeks of cookouts, during which the celeb participants have to fight for their position or they might get eliminated from their team, which is either the red or the blue team.
