General information and cast

The brand new drama series Pulse, Australia’s version of the American Grey’s Anatomy, debuted on July 20th, 2017 with eight episodes its very first season. Created by Mel Hill and Michael Miller, the hospital show hails from the production companies Clandestine TV and Beyond Productions and is executive produced by Kym Goldsworthy, David Ogilvy, Sally Riley and Ron Saunders. The cast features Claire van der Boom as Frankie Bell, Andrea Demetriades as Lou Tannis, Owen Teale as Chad Berger, Liam McIntyre as Eli Nader and Pallavi Sharda as Tanya Kalchuri. Penny Cook, Susie Porter, Renee Lim and Dalip Sondhi also star.

Frankie Bell is a high-flying and successful financial analyst, a young woman in the prime of her life and she has everything. However, her life changes dramatically, when her kidneys give up on her and she suddenly needs a transplant. Very much inspired by the man who saves her, Frankie decides to changes her course and career and wants to become a doctor herself. Pulse follows her years as a practicing doctor and intern at a major teaching hospital and the very high stakes and high pressure she now faces on a daily basis.
