If you are tuning into the DIY Network, you pretty know what you are in for and the brand new series Rustic Renovations fits just perfectly into all the crafty and inspiring program lineup of the channel. One thing that is obviously a huge bonus for the show is the fact that these two dudes are very likable indeed and their creations are every bit of amazing. And there is the “catch” – they are just as great as any other show featured on the DIY Network or HGTV. What makes them stand out is yet to be seen and as it is still very early days, the question regarding a possible season 2 might be somewhat premature at this point. As of today, the network has not yet made any official announcement regarding a second installment. So stay tuned and we will keep you updated if and when Rustic Renovations returns with Season 2.
General information and cast
Currently in its very first installment, the brand new home makeover show Rustic Renovations debuted on the DIY Network on July 11th, 2017 with 10 half-hour episodes. Being part of Scripps Networks Interactive, which amongst others owns the hugely popular HGTV channel as well as the Food Network, Travel Channel and Cooking channel, Rustic Renovations is also produced by DIY Network. The hosts for this show are the brothers Brock and Chase Jurgensen.
Owners of a construction company specialized in renovating in particular worn-down and neglected cabins, Brock and Chase Jurgensen host this brand new home makeover show Rustic Renovations. The series literally does what the title promises and focusses on run down cabins in the southern area around Minneapolis. Chase and Brock try to renovate these properties without losing the heritage that comes with it and they very much try to rescue as much material as possible. From reclaimed wood to any original old elements, the brothers create unique living spaces incorporating something from the past for future generations. Chase is the contractor and his brother Brock is a woodworking craftsman.
