General information and cast
On December 4th, 2016 the pilot of the brand new animation adventure series Apollo Gauntlet debuted on the network Adult Swim and season one then kicked off with six episodes on July 9th, 2017. Created by Canadian animator Myles Langlois, Apollo Gauntlet is produced by 6 Point Harness, Mosaic and Williams Street and executive produced by Brendan Burch, Sam Hansen, Jimmy Miller, Wendy Willis and Myles Langlois, who also voices the lead character Apollo Gauntlet.
Paul Cassidy is a police officer here on earth, but when he gets send to a futuristic medieval society, he transforms into a superhero with the name Apollo Gauntlet, which derives from the pair of talking gauntlets that he wears together with his magical suit. In this new world, Cassidy aka Apollo Gauntlet has to fight evil all the while he is trying to catch Dr. Benign, who sent him there.
