Gusto is a Canadian network and – just as the name suggests – mainly focusses on food, culinary exploration and … more food. Their website almost looks like that by the Food Network, loaded with delicious recipes, dishes and … more food ideas. Perfect destination for the three dudes, who clearly have a real passion for their heritage and their countries, which are all pretty famous for their exquisite culinary meals. The show just started, so the question for a possible season 2 might be a little premature and as of today, no official statements were released regarding the future of the series just yet. So, stay tuned and we will keep you updated if The Latin Kitchen returns with a season 2 and when.
General information and cast
Currently in its first installment, the brand new Canadian cooking series The Latin Kitchen debuted on the channel Gusto July 6th, 2017 with overall 15 half-hour episodes (according to Gusto’s website). Created and executive produced by Chris Knight, the series is produced by Bell Media Productions and Gusto Media Worldwide. The three chefs and the series’ hosts are Luis Valenzuela from Mexico, Luis “Tigretón” Leon from Spain and Juan Pablo González from Venezuela.
The Latin Kitchen features three passionate chefs, who will show the viewers their very own rustic takes and simple techniques with exotic new ingredients for traditional recipes all coming from their homelands Mexico, Spain and Venezuela. Exploring the culinary possibilities is the main focus in this series featuring dishes from their home countries, which are all famous for the amazing food prepared there.
