HGTV is most certainly the absolute top destination for any renovation and house flipping show out there and currently boasts a huge number of property transformation and overhaul shows to choose from. Most of them have been on air for many years, having produced many episodes over various different seasons. Will Flipping Buddies become one of HGTV’s big show stars or will it just disappear and simply not come back with any more of Horton and Rugg? That is to be determined. As of today, HGTV has not yet made any official announcements regarding the future of the series, so stay tuned and we will keep you updated if and when Flipping Buddies returns with Season 2 or not.
General information and cast
The home improvement reality TV series Flipping Buddies debuted on the HGTV channel on June 17th, 2017 with seemingly only one pilot episode so far. Matthew Beirne acts as supervising producer and Madalyn Lawson as production assistant.
Flipping Buddies follows best friends John Horton and Steve Rugg, as they take on the most unappealing renovation projects seen on television so far. John is the one finding these deserted, decayed and literally destroyed properties somewhere in Southern California and then Steve takes on the lead, when it comes to construction and getting these houses and buildings transformed into livable homes. They start off with really hard renovation challenges, but they are fazed by them and do everything they can to turn these unloved properties into turn-key dream homes. The pilot of Flipping Buddies features a property Steve bought online, unseen and literally the ugliest house on the block.
