The Last Resort Canceled: Nine Network Says No to Series 2

The first season of the reality TV series The Last Resort premiered on the Nine Network with six episodes on May 9th, 2017. The series is produced by Nine Network and features five desperate couples joining a couples therapy experiment to fix their broken relationships on a tropical island.

There has been cheating, commitment phobias and generally harsh truths about these five couples as they enter this relationship experiment guided by two leading relationship experts. Once these people have made it through the process, which will take four weeks on this tropical island, they can either call it quits or fully commit to each other. Sharday had someone else’s baby whilst being with her now ex, Carl cheated on Lucy and doesn’t care he was caught, Dan left his pregnant wife for Lisa, Sarah wants to get married and Keelan just wants to drink, and Jodie and Stu cannot have sex due to his head injury.
