The first season of the reality TV show Upscale with Prentice Penny premiered on the Network TruTV with twelve episodes on March 21st, 2017. The series is produced by Defy Media and executive produced by creator, showrunner and main cast Prentice Penny as well as Jared Hoffman, James T. Moore and Chris Pollack.
We all want often more than what we can actually afford. But fear not – Prentice Penny is here to help us live the lifestyle we truly deserve. In his mind, one does not need a loaded bank account to be able to live a high end lifestyle. So he demonstrates with a few unique tricks how this is done, all infused with his very own sense of humor. According to Penny, cost and quality aren’t mutually exclusive and in each of the half-hour episodes he brings us tips and advice in all kinds of areas such as food, sex, travel as well as health and fitness. Lots of what seems unattainable to most of us just needs the right approach and Prentice shows us how.
Living a better life is always a good idea, but we often need help getting there, because more often than not this new lifestyle seems either impossible due to high expenses or due to seemingly impossible goals. I’m sure that Prentice Penny has some pretty good ideas as to what the overall ratings for his very own TV series should be and I’m almost convinced that he also has a great idea how he could obtain these higher numbers. However, as of today, the overall rating for Upscale With Prentice Penny sits at a rather middle-of-the-road 5.2 out of 10 stars on IMDb, which doesn’t really show a lot of enthusiasm or popularity with the viewers. So far, TruTV has not yet announced the future of this series, so stay tuned and we will keep you updated if and when Upscale With Prentice Penny returns for season 2 – or not.
