On April 17th, 2017 the first season of the new British reality competition series Culinary Genius premiered on the ITV network with twenty episodes. The show aired daily during the course of four weeks and at the end of the series it was already announced that this show will also be broadcast in the US on the Fox network ABC. Produced by Studio Ramsay and All3Media, Culinary Genius is created and executive produced by Hell’s Kitchen’s Gordon Ramsay, as well as Chris Brogden and Michelle Langer. Fern Britton is the host of this cooking competition.
In Gordon Ramsay’s newest cooking adventure, nine contestants battle it out every day of the week for a £1000.- cash prize over the course of several challenges. Ever week, one professional chef with be overlooking the teams, with Gordon Ramsay starting off the first week. Then we also get to see Rosemary Shrager, Phil Vickery and Jean-Christophe Novelli in action, as the chefs will show the teams two of the three challenges, how they should be done.
