The first season of the comedy series What Would Sal Do premiered on Crave TV on March 24th, 2017 with eight episodes. Written and created by Andrew De Angelis, the series is produced by New Metric Media and executive produced by Mark Montefiore and Patrick O'Sullivan.
Self-centered and lazy underachiever Sal, who is played by Dylan Taylor, is a cranky nobody, who lives with his mom Maria, played by Jennifer Dale. Everything changes, when on his 30th birthday his mother tells him that he is actually the second coming of Jesus Christ, which would basically mean, that Sal would have to change everything about his life to fulfill his destiny. Ryan McDonald, Kaniehtiio Horn and Scott Thompson also star.
Jesus came back from the dead, but What Would Sal Do won’t even come back for a second season. The network announced recently that this comedy series didn’t make the cut and was cancelled after the very first series. So, unfortunately no miracles for this one and no chance for Season 2 of What Would Sal Do.
