Netflix Axes Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On – No Season 2

On April 21st, 2017 a new docu-series called Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On hit our screens, when streaming giant Netflix released six compelling episodes. The original premise was a movie called Hot Girls Wanted, which came out in May 2015 and this new documentary is an extension of that first documentary. Produced by Herzog & Company, the series is directed and written by Bill Bauer as well as Rashida Jones, famous for numerous roles in various TV comedies and both are also acting as executive producers, as well as Christopher G. Cowen, Adam Del Deo, Ronna Gradus and Mark Herzog, just to name a few.

Since the Internet, times have changed significantly – I bet, most of us have never known a life without it and all the perks of social media and online streaming and whatnot. One of the biggest things, which pretty much exploded with the development of this amazing technical feat, is the Sex industry. Yes, I said it! Porn is no longer something hidden in the back of grandpa’s closet. Now it is more than readily available on thousands of websites – some free, some not – for everyone to tune in to watch everything from sensual lovemaking to the absurd and “not so nice” (to put it mildly). And now it’s on TV too, Hot Girls Wanted: Turned on is a provocative documentary telling the stories of real people, men and women, and how the internet has transformed their lives – those, who are involved in the porn industry. The six episodes cover everyone from those in front of the camera, behind the camera and those consuming it.
