Series overview and storyline
A reality spinoff series launched by Freeform, the first season of Happily Ever After? featured Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell who were originally introduced to the television audience in the 20th season of The Bachelor. The final rose was awarded to Lauren, and hereby the televised romance ended and the real life began. After Lauren and Ben’s spinoff got cancelled at the end of its debut season, Freeform decided to give the new concept a second chance with a new duo – twins Haley and Emily Ferguson, also known from The Bachelor series. The new show is produced by Next Entertainment and Warner Horizon Television and executive produced by Mike Fleiss, Martin Hilton and Jason Ehrlich, with co-executive production effort from Jack Mori. Season 1 of The Twins: Happily Ever After? came out on Freeform on March 20th, 2017.
What started out as The Bachelor's (unlikely) success story with Ben and Lauren, now turns its focus on the two twins Haley and Emily, who said goodbye to the easy life with their mom and start their own journey in trying to figure out how they want to live, where and which career they want to pursue. After the failed relationship between the original Bachelor couple Ben and Lauren it is refreshing to watch these two figure life out in their own hilarious ways.
