On January 24th, 2017, one of the most controversial news documentaries premiered on National Geographic. Produced by Film 45 with executive producer Peter Berg, this new show with the title Uncensored with Michael Ware follows this rather brave and exceptional journalist and correspondent, who is famous for his fearless coverage of the war in Iraq, as he embarks on yet another journey of discovery.
The Australian Michael Ware used to work for CNN from their bureau based in Baghdad after leaving the sister publication Time. This guy has been out and about of this office and "mingled" with the British and the American forces right there in the melting pot of the war, so he is no stranger to meeting some very interesting people. In this new show, Uncensored with Michael Ware, he gets to meet and see especially interesting people, places and cultures, such as witchcraft in New Guinea and then the paparazzi in L.A. His gung-ho approach will definitely get him some answers, that's for sure.
