About the series
On January 19th, 2017, a slightly different detective drama documentary show premiered on the Investigation Discovery network. Different, because these are real detectives from New Orleans, who have retired or switched jobs and who now come together regularly, to share their cases – now with the viewers of this show through story-telling, insights into documents and files and also reenactments. Cineflix Productions is behind this project, with executive producers Alex Bystram and director Nicolina Lanni.
Each member of this Detectives Club tells about their most disturbing and hardest cases they had to solve over a time frame of over a decade. These well-dressed people sit around a beautiful table in a lavishly looking dining room, but those cases they recount aren't pretty at all. Cate Beckett, Joe Catalanotto, Barret Morton, Jimmy Anderson and Eddie Rantz all get to have their turn telling us about their most difficult crime cases.
